SHOP ANNOUNCEMENTS!

--After much consideration, I have made the decision to no longer offer clothing tailoring & alteration services effective November 1, 2024. My passion has always been creative sewing, restoration and fiber art, so I will be pursuing that line of work full time. These services will certainly be open to the public, so I'm not disappearing! I will be remaining in the same plaza but in a new unit (in front next to Mall Barbers) under the new name Bx Fiber Art. I will offer a wide range of specialty sewing options including plush replicas (Muppets included!), pillows, quilts (up-cycled, memory, patch, etc.), curtains and various other fiber art. I want to thank each and every one of my clients over the last two years who have supported me and my business. I hope to still be able to help you with future (creative) sewing needs!

--I am no longer taking appointments for weddings/special events taking place in September. If you are looking for alterations for October events, please book an appointment for a fitting.

--EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: Children under the age of 13 are no longer allowed into the shop UNLESS they are being fitted for alterations themselves. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Sew Special Wilbraham is owned and operated by self-taught professional seamstress Emily Engel. Located in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, I provide services such as no-frills tailoring and alterations, custom home decor and commissioned fiber art. I am best known for my 2015 creation "Lil' Bernie" and Muppet replicas.
